The city of Cambridge is alive with creativity and all the community feels this February as the Cambridge Arts Festival returns for its third year.

From 9th February 2026, the city centre has been playing host to a vibrant programme of exhibitions and creative experiences with the aim of celebrating local and regional artists of every discipline.

One of the highlights of the festival is the CamCreatives Art Showcase, taking place at The Grand Arcade on Saint Andrew’s Street, Cambridge. Running until 19th February 2025, this free exhibition brings together the work of a whole host of CamCreatives members and showcases an amazing mix of paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, graphic design and so much more.

I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking part again this year for the second time, and to have my painting Sundowner on display as part of the showcase. Sundowner was inspired by shifting light and atmospheric summer evenings. It tries to capture that heavy warmth and glow of the golden hour as day shifts to night. It is being exhibited in the Grand Arcade location alongside an amazing breadth of work from local talent. Whether you’re an art lover or simply curious to explore Cambridge’s vibrant creative scene, this is a wonderful opportunity to see diverse artistic voices in one central, accessible space.

CamCreatives is supported by Cambridge BID and forms part of the wider Arts Festival programme.

This exhibition is free to visit, and Sundowner will be on view until Wednesday 19th February. If you’re in or around Cambridge over the coming week, I’d love for you to pop by, soak up the show, and experience some of the incredible creativity that’s bubbling through our city and surrounding areas. Maybe even take part in a workshop or two?

Stay tuned on my social channels for a sneak peek inside the exhibition — and of course, if you spot Sundowner on display, I’d love to hear what you think!
