A New Chapter - Welcome Back!

If you've been here before, things might look a little different!

For a while, this space belonged to both me and my sister Paris, a place where we were sharing work we loved making. It was exactly right for that season. But things evolve, as they tend to do, and this little corner has had a little refresh.

Alma Cara Studio is now home to my business consultancy work which aims to support other creative businesses to grow with intention and clarity. You can explore and find more about that here.

And sitting alongside it, finally with a room of its own, is my art. Just mine (for now, whilst Paris concentrates on her Art Therapy training and exploring other exciting adventures!). Paintings that have been accumulating in the studio, and my mind!, while I figured out where they belonged and I feel like I have emerged from a time of creative play with a bit more direction and clarity now.

This blog will form a part of that creative outlet. I hope for it to be a place to share my work, the process behind it, and the occasional thought that felt worth putting into words. Some unfiltered dispatches from someone who paints because she can't quite find a way to stop!
