Some pieces just belong together.
Sister Moon I and Sister Moon II were created side by side, designed to sit in harmony, yet with their own quiet personalities. I painted them as a pair, and although they were listed individually, it felt so right when one buyer chose to keep them together. They're staying sisters, just as they were meant to be.
Both paintings explore the magic of the moon over the sea. With silver leaf moons casting their glow over dark, inky waters, these pieces are full of quiet energy, mystery, and contrast.

Sister Moon I
A silver moon sinks low over calm waters, casting a soft and magical light. Framed in a deep, rich-toned wooden frame and finished with gloss varnish, this piece feels like a peaceful night—perfect for those moments when you want to breathe deep and unwind.

Sister Moon II
Her twin is the wild one. The moon sits higher in the sky, overlooking choppier seas. There’s more movement, more tension in the waves—but still, the moonlight brings a sense of calm. This painting has the beginnings of a stormy-night energy, the kind where you sit and watch the sky shift.
Both artworks are subtly textured and created on A4 acrylic paper, layered with silver leaf, and set in matching frames with a glass front.
Moon Magic for Your Home
Whether you're a moon lover, a wild swimmer, or just someone who finds comfort in moody seascapes, these paintings are a beautiful way to bring that energy into your space. They’d make a meaningful gift or a daily reminder to pause and soak in the moonlight.
While Sister Moons have now sold, I’m always open for commissions if this style speaks to you.
