Afterglow: A Sunset Captured, A New Home Found

I’m so pleased to share that Afterglow, one of the centrepieces of my Ebb & Glow collection, has just sold at the Hot Numbers exhibition. Soon, I’ll be carefully collecting it from the gallery and delivering it to its new home!

About Afterglow

Afterglow is a striking diptych designed to capture that suspended moment just after the sun disappears beyond the horizon. Pinks bloom into violet, clouds glow with copper and blush, and the sky lingers between bold energy and utter stillness.

Painted across two large-scale deep-edge canvases (60 x 75cm each), this pair was created to transform a space. With layered tones of burnt copper, fiery orange, deep inky blues, and soft blush, it embodies the fleeting magic of dusk—the moment where endings still carry light.

Part of the Ebb & Glow collection, Afterglow was designed as a statement piece, full of warmth, movement, and calm. I’m so thrilled it has found a home where it will continue to glow every day.

Hot Numbers Exhibition

Afterglow was being shown as part of my current exhibition at the Hot Numbers Coffee, where I’ve been lucky enough to share my work with so many of you in person. Exhibitions like this are such a joy—they create space for conversation, connection, and for people to experience my art up close too.
