Or there's a moment - a holiday, a view, a feeling from somewhere - that you'd love to have near you everyday.
A commission is how I can make that happen for you.
You don't need to arrive with a briefly or a mood board or certainty about anything. Most of the best commission start with "I don't quite know what I want. but I'll know when I see it".
Here's How It Works
The Conversation
We start with a chat. By email or a quick call, whatever suits you. You tell me about your space, the feeling you are after, any colours you love or want to avoid. I ask lots of questions, and then we figure it out together.
The Concept
Once I have a sense of what you are looking for, I'll come back to you with a proposal (this will include sizing, mood, approach and pricing). There is no commitment until you are happy with the direction.
The Making
This is where the magic happens! I paint your piece in layers, building up texture and colours until the light and the feeling arrives * just as they should*. I'll share progress along the way so you can see it coming to life.
The Delivery
Your finished painting arrives carefully packaged, ready to hang. Most commissions are completed within four to six weeks, although a specific personalised timeframe will be agreed at point of proposal based on the brief.

Commissions are priced based on size and complexity - starting from around £200 for smaller pieces through to larger statement works. If you have a budget in mind tell me and we can find out what is possible within that. There is no awkwardness here, just an open and honest conversation.
Every commission comes with the same care as the pieces you see in the collection. This is something that is going to live with you for a long time - they are created with this in mind.
